Zauzich, Enchoria 8/2, 1978, 97 schlägt vor Kmj eine Lesung n.ı͗m=w "dort" vor; während Ray pꜣj (Demonstrativum, geschrieben wie pꜣj=(j) "mein"; vgl. ebenso Z. 16) liest. Wir übernehmen hier mit Vorbehalt die neue Interpretation von Quack, in: TUAT NF 4, 378, die allerdings unsicher ist, da es statt ı͗w eigentlich korrekt ı͗j.ṱ heißen sollte. Auch das Fehlen jeglicher richtungsangebenden Präpositionen trägt zur Unklarheit bei. - Für das Ende der Passage vergleicht Ray Gen. 1,2 (ꜥal-pnê hamayyîm).
