jnd is sporadically attested as an agentive noun from Middle Kingdom through to the Third Intermediate Period (Jenkins 2022: 194). In this usage, jnd denotes “one who experiences suffering, distress” (Jenkins 2022: 194). This usage is most frequently attested in the autobiographical genre, whereby the authors emphasise their ability to assist individuals experiencing jnd (see, for example: Sentence IBUBd6mSYW9C40WJmqDxTGjyNYI; Sentence IBUBd8saghUTg0aeihAqcWxilI8; Jenkins 2022: 191–92).
