  • Die Übersetzung von Reisner & Reisner, in: ZÄS 69, 1933, 27: „He is enraged when anyone approaches him on the battlefield“ ist ungrammatisch. Helck, Urkunden … Übersetzung, 6 hat sie aber in leicht veränderter Form übernommen, auch Klug, Stelen, 195. Vgl. auch die identische Einschätzung bei Beylage, Stelentexte, 179 Anm. 543. Redforf, Wars, 104 schließt diesen Teil noch direkt an den vorangehenden an: „Who reaches the limits of the foreign lands that had attaecked him, turning hither and yon on the battlefield in a rage!“ Cumming, Egyptian Historical Records, 2 und Hoffmeier, in: Context of Scripture II, 14 haben wie hier übersetzt, jedoch einen Adjektivalsatz angenommen: „He is one who faces aggressively the battlefield in a state of rage.“ [Üb. Hoffmeier].
