  • - mšm.t: Gardiner, EHT, 33a, Anm. 12m-n emendiert zu mšꜥ und auch Fischer-Elfert, 174-175 betrachtet dies als eine hybride Schreibung von mšꜥ (so auch Erman, Neuägyptische Grammatik, 11, § 17; Korostovtsev, Grammaire du néo-égyptien, 30) und nicht von šmi̯. Quack, in: LingAeg 2, 1992, 153 ist anderer Meinung: m-šm ist eine sonst nur demotisch und koptisch (maše) belegte Graphie des Imperativs von šm (Spiegelberg, Demotische Grammatik, § 217). Dagegen führt Westendorf, Kopt. Handwörterbuch, 108, maše zurück auf das Verb mooše, das selbst auf mšꜥ zurückgeht. Für Quack leitet jw=tw ḥr die direkte Rede ein: "Wenn man (sagt): 'Geh nach Adammim' ...".
