  • Grundriß der Medizin IX, 7-8 vermutet hierin ein spezielles Honigmaß, da dieses Zeichen als Maßangabe nur in Verbindung mit Honig vorkommt; ferner schlägt er, basierend auf der Schreibung mit V12 in Eb 221, eine Lesung als ꜥrq und einen Zusammenhang mit dem Verb ꜥrq: „etwas fertig herstellen“ (als Bedeutungsvariante des Verbs „vollenden“) vor.
