Ist das f am Beginn von Vso. 4 wirklich das letzte Zeichen vor st und somit unweigerlich ein Suffixpronomen, wie die Transkriptionen angeben, oder kann man den Schwanz noch ein wenig verlängern, sodass das vermeintliche Horn eigentlich zum Determinativ gehört und ein auf f endendes Wort dasteht? Wäre z.B. "sie (die Bewohner von Syrien) sind/werden niedergebeugt (wꜥf) vor dem Doppeltor..." möglich?
mꜣꜥ.t: Das unleserliche Zeichen vor dem Verspunkt kann kaum etwas anderes sein als ein Determinativ von mꜣꜥ.t.
Zum Ende des Satzes vgl. die Bezeichnung von Piramesse als "Anfang jeden Fremdlandes, Ende Ägyptens" in pAnastasi III, 7,4. Die genaue Bedeutung des zweimaligen ꜥꜣ ist unklar.
