Ein religionsgeschichtliches Phänomen und seine sozialen Grundlagen, Wiesbaden 1994 (ÄAT 21), S. 416 vermutete dagegen in wr.w nḏs.w Appositionen zu nmḥ.w (so wohl auch Lichtheim, S. 173), das er an dieser Stelle wie überhaupt im späten Neuen Reich als "eine umfassende Bezeichnung für geringes Volk" versteht, das in sich weitere Abstufungen haben kann.
