  • Die ägyptische Sammlung von Jean-André Périchon in das von ihm gebaute Château Périchon befindet sich heute im Musée des Beaux-Arts von Limoges.

  • "Jean-André Périchon, ingénieur des Arts et Métiers et directeur d’une sucrerie pendant 22 ans en Egypte, sera qualifié de " Bey " par le Khédive. En 1905, il fit construire un manoir de style Renaissance. Couverture en ardoises, tourelle au toit en poivrière sur la face sud-ouest surmontée d’une girouette sommée d’un croissant de lune oriental. Côté route, une véranda de style égypto-turc dénommée " salon mauresque " avec meubles et bibelots ramenés d’Egypte. Sa collection d’objets de la civilisation égyptienne est au Musée des Beaux-Arts à Limoges."
