Comment on dating:

  • Der König ist mit voller Titulatur genannt. Ein Regierungsjahr ist nicht angegeben. S. Bedier, in: FS Winter, 40-41 vermutet aber aufgrund stilistischer Ähnlichkeiten mit der Gebel-Barkal-Stele eine Entstehung um das 47. Regierungsjahr; hierzu passe auch, dass von Thutmosis III. im Delta keine Bauaktivität vor seiner 5. Regierungsdekade nachweisbar ist (mit Verweis auf Redford, LÄ VI, 1986, 543 s.v. Thutmosis III.). Diese Einschätzung wird aber von Klug, Stelen, 105 abgelehnt, weil diese Kriterien ihrer Meinung nach nicht ausreichend sind.
