Comment on this place: Im Kunsthandel angekauft. Sollte die Vermutung von Kákosy (1998, 136) zutreffen, dass die Horusstele Teil der Grabausstattung von König Sethnacht war, ist eine Herkunft aus Theben anzusetzen.

Angekauft vom Antikenhändler Maurice Nahman (1868-1948) in Kairo, vermutlich in den 1930er Jahren. Bekam die Journal d’Entrée-Nummer 60273. Zusätzlich gibt es eine weitere Nummer „309“ unbekannter Funktion.
