      Comment on this place: Die Herkunft ist bei Gardiner nicht spezifiziert, daher wohl gleiche Herkunft wie pAnastasi II, wozu Gardiner, LEM, xiii, schreibt: 1839 angekauft von Anastasi, dem Schwedischen Konsul in Ägypten. Der Fundort ist nicht eindeutig überliefert, aber von dem, was von der Herkunft der Sammlung Anastasi bekannt ist [LEM, xxi: eine Notiz von Anastasi in Leiden besagt, daß pLeiden I 348 in Memphis gefunden wurde] und wegen interner Information in den Handschriften selbst, stammen sie wahrscheinlich aus Saqqara.

  • Der Text ist laut Titel verfaßt für den Assistent-Schreiber Ineni in Jahr 1; aus anderen Texten von Ineni (pAnastasi VI, VII, pSallier II und pd'Orbiney) wird klar, daß das erste Jahr Sethos' II. gemeint ist. Später im Text werden König Weser-cheperu-Ra Setep-en-Ra (5.12), d.h. Sethos II., bzw. sein Totentempel (7.1 und 2) genannt.
