  Comment on this place: Laut Grébaut, 15 wurde die Stele 1887 in einem zerstörten Grab in Achmim gefunden, zusammen mit einem Sarg auf dem Namen Antef. Antef war Nomarch der Provinz von Achmim, aber die Stele gehört laut Franke (in: SAK 34, 2006, 182 (Nr. 6)) stilistisch und phraseologisch nach Abydos. Auch H.G. Fischer nennt es eine Abydenische Stele (in: LÄ II, 414).

Laut M. Maree, Edfu under the Twelfth to Seventeenth Dynasties, in: BMSAES 12, 2009, 36, Anm. 17: früher als Sesostris I. (vielleicht, weil er nach Dossier 132 von Franke unseren Antef mit einem Antef von Graffito Wadi Hammamat M199 aus der Zeit Amenemhet I. identifiziert); Obsomer, Sésostris Ier, 361, Anm. 1 datiert die Stele am Ende der Regierung des Sesostris I. wegen der Filiationsangabe mit jri.n.
