- - Aushackungen und Restaurierungen: Im Bildfeld sind die Figur des Beamten und der überreichten Gaben, sowie zwei Zeilen der Beischriften am rechten Rand, abrasiert worden, und ebenso wurde das Ende von Z.1 des Textfeldes ausgehackt; vgl. Helck, in: JNES 14, 1955, 22, 25 Anm. b, und die Photographien bei Leprohon, CAA MFA Boston, Stelae II, 163 und auf der Homepage des MFA Boston, wo dies besonders gut sichtbar ist. Es ist keine Restaurierung vorgenommen worden.

Comment on this place: Die Stele wurde am 24. Januar 1924 von G.A. Reisner während der Grabungen im Fort Sesostris’ III. im östlichen Teil gefunden. Die Stele war in zwei Teile zerbrochen: Das obere Fragment wurde am Fuß der Lehmziegeltreppe am Ostende des „River Corridor“ entdeckt, das untere Hauptfragment am gleichen Tag, zwei Meter westlich vom anderen Stück.
