      Comment on this place: Das Ostrakon wurde laut Grabungsbeschriftung auf dem Objekt am 12. Januar 1930 in den Müllbergen der 18.–20. Dynastie am Südrand des Dorfes (genannt „Koms du sud“) von Deir el-Medineh gefunden (Posener 1938, 15; zu dem Fundort „Koms du sud“ siehe Bruyère, Rapport sur les fouilles de Deir el Médineh (1930), Fouilles de l’Institut Franҫais d’Archéologie Orientale du Caire 8, Fasc. 3 (Le Caire 1933), 6).

  • Nach einer Notiz in Posener, Catalogue des ostraca hiératiques littéraires de Deir el Médineh. Tome 1 Fasc. III (Nos 1063 à 1108), DFIFAO 1.3, Le Caire 1938, VI datiert er alle Ostraka des Catalogue des ostraca hiératiques littéraires prinzipiell in die Ramessidenzeit (Mitte 19. bis Mitte 20. Dynastie), wohl aufgrund der Herkunft und der Paläographie. Die Tatsache, dass die Präposition im Futur-III nicht geschrieben wurde, spricht eher für eine Datierung in die 20. Dynastie, obwohl die Präposition auch schon früher ungeschrieben bleiben kann.
