  • - [...]=w: die Lücke ist maximal 1,5cm lang, d.h. viel kürzer als in der hieroglyphischen Umschrift angegeben. Jasnow denkt an jri=w (als Vollverb) oder an qd=w im sDm=f. Winand, 46, Anm. 17 ergänzt [jw jri]=w als Umstandssatz des Präteritums.
    - jw=w dm: Jasnow bezieht dies auf ds, das jedoch ein Singular ist (ohne Pluralstriche; anders in Zl. 2.7).
    - sf: Jasnow und Winand übersetzen mit "Messer", Quack mit "Schwert". Laut Wb. III, 442 bedeutet pꜣ zf: "das Messer" und tꜣ zf.t: "das Schwert" (nach Burchardt, in: ZÄS 50, 1912, 62-63, Anm. 4, mit Verweis auf Sethe: koptisch-arabisches Glossar von Paris). Demotisch und Koptisch ist das Femininum sehr viel häufiger als das Maskulinum, Jasnow trägt es im Index s.v. sf ein.
