  • jw.tj ḏr.t=f: Jäger, S. 281, Anm. c verglich mit der Phrase gmi̯ ḏr.t=f in den Berichten zur Kadesch-Schlacht und in Medinet Habu, die er mit "Kraft finden" übersetzte. Vgl. dazu die Reiterkarten DZA 31.641.800 (mit dem Übersetzungsvorschlag "den Mut haben") und DZA 31.641.860 (als Epitheton des Königs) mit den zugehörigen Belegzetteln. Grimals Vorschlag als "habile a viser" (Les termes de la propaganda royale Égyptienne de la XIXe dynastie à la conquête d'Alexandre, Paris 1986 [MAIBL 6], S. 714, Anm. 873) ist schon sehr spezifisch und passt nicht zu den Stellen aus der Kadesch-Schlacht. Der gemeinsame Nenner scheint etwas wie "Hand anlegen, handeln, aktiv sein/werden" zu sein. Neben dieser Unsicherheit bezüglich der genauen Konnotation der Phrase ist sehr unsicher, ob die Bedeutungen der Lemmata innerhalb der Phrase nach Auflösung in ihre Einzelbestandteile auch auf diese transponiert werden können. Überzeugender klingt Tackes Erwägung, in der "Hand" eine Metapher für "Talent" zu sehen, ähnlich dem deutschen Ausdruck "ein Händchen haben für etw.".
