  • Alle Versionen geben hier anscheinend das Verb whs, WB I, 346.7. "Lässig sein" macht im Zusammenhang mit der Tötung von Feinden m.E. wenig Sinn. Ich gehe hier deshalb von einer "wilden" Schreibung für das wesentlich häufiger belegte Wort whi̯ aus, das besonders häufig in königlichen Texten, die über Kriege/Feinde berichten, vorkommt. Dort wird entweder aus Sicht des äg. Königs geschildert, dass er die Feinde nicht verfehlt (zu töten) bzw. aus Feindesperspektive gesagt, das sie dem König nicht entkommen. Das WB führt bereits "wilde" Schreibungen für whi̯ mit s-Auslaut oder ꜣ-Inlaut an.
