Vgl. Goyon, Un phylactère tardif, 48: „Les caractères hiératiques sont très lisibles sans toutefois être soignés, et ont été tracés par une main avertie.“ Und ibid., S. 46: „L’encre utiliseé pour les dessins et l’écriture est très noire; le trait est ferme et net, es dans l’ensemble, témoigne d’une certaine habilité.“ Goyon a.a.O. notiert außerdem, dass die Tinte beim Einrollen des Papyrusstreifens noch nicht ganz getrocknet war, als das Blatt gefaltet worden ist, und daher jetzt an einigen Stellen recht stark verblasst ist. Dies erweckt auf Schwarz-Weiß-Photographien den irreführenden Eindruck, dass er in Teilen mit roter Tinte beschrieben worden ist.

  • Goyon, Un phylactère tardif, 48-49 datiert den hieratischen Text von 3233b aus paläographischen Gründen in das späte 5. oder frühe 4. Jahrhundert. A. Gasse, in: À l’école des scribes, 169 gibt hierfür das 7. Jh. v.u.Z. oder später an, für 3233a mit der Vignette hat sie S. 170-171: „époque tardive, peut-être période ptolémaique“, und zwar aufgrund der Figurengestaltung. In der Online Collection des Louvre ist die Spätzeit (664-332 v.u.Z.) allgemein verzeichnet, als Begründung wird jeweils „attribution d’après style“ angegeben.
