      Comment on this place: Ursprünglich aus der Sammlung von Henry Abbott (1812-1859), später von Charles Edwin Wilbour, Herkunft unbekannt. James, 75 gibt Theben als Herkunftsort an (so auch PM I, 2, 2nd ed., 784), auf der Homepage des Brooklyn Museums (07. Mai 2018) steht "reportedly from Saqqara". Der Statuentypus des anbetenden Manes und die Inschrift mit einem Hymnus an den Sonnengott sind Indizien, dass die Statue vielleicht ursprünglich in einer Nische über dem Grabeingang gestanden hat.
